 – Renowned stylist and founder of the Lionel Renard hair care line, Lionel Renard, debuts his first salon location in Los Angeles, California.  The salon, a 1500-square-foot-space was designed as a virtual oasis catering to the direct needs of his high-end clientele.

The 13-chair, full-service salon, which offers haircuts, hair treatments (organic and intensifying), extensions, up-dos, hair color, braids, make-up, and more, is taking a different approach than most salons encouraging stylists to offer both color and styling services to their clients.

“I wanted to create a retreat where clients would feel unrushed and fully catered to by stylists who listen to their needs and service them to their utmost expectations,” says Renard.  “For years my clients have been asking me to open a salon in Los Angeles that would be both luxurious in décor and calming in atmosphere with stylists that can do it all.”

Lionel Renard Salons provide luxurious hair care and exceptional service in Miami, New York and, most recently, Los Angeles. Renard, born in Paris, has a family history in the beauty business: his parents owned a salon in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Since moving to the States, Renard has soared to new heights in the hair world. Some of today’s biggest stars have trusted him with their tresses, and Renard recently released his own product line to meet all hair needs (free of sulfates, parabens and other harsh chemicals). Also this year, the flagship Lionel Renard Salon opened on West Third Street. A clean, modern space, the salon boasts high ceilings, sleek wood and plenty of natural light.

In hopes of harmonizing patrons' energy with the surrounding environment, the space was designed according to the principles of feng shui. The Bauhaus-inspired layout was carefully developed to enhance the client experience, with subtle touches to calm the mind and soul. Shiatsu shampoo chairs come with a user-controlled back massage function and a generous bowl tilt for a nirvana-like experience; customized styling stations are made from walnut wood and decorated with exotic orchids for a sense of refinement. Finally, a Champagne service lets clients completely relax in the hands of these highly-trained hair lovers.
