Born in Paris, Lionel Renard grew up around the craft of hairdressing: his parents owned a salon in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. His career has taken him through Miami, New York and Los Angeles, where he founded Lionel Renard Salon on West Third Street.

 

His approach begins with listening. Every cut and color is shaped around the client’s hair, personal style and everyday life, with time to talk through the desired result.

 

The Los Angeles salon reflects that same attention to detail. Its Bauhaus-inspired design combines natural light, walnut styling stations and orchids to create a calm, welcoming space. Shiatsu shampoo chairs add a moment of relaxation to the visit.
